VUDU App on Kids Android Tablet not allowing to write to SD card

My son has a Sprout Cubby kids Android Tablet (Android OS 4.4.2) with a 32gb Micro SD card in it. The tablet and other apps reconize the card. We have a 2nd one of thes same tablets setup the same way and it DOES recognize the sd card.

Every time I go into the Account Settings / Download To and try to check the SD CARD to down load to, it pops up and says "There is no writable SD Card on this device." Again, we have a second exactly the same table with exactly the same SD card and it has no issues. I have updated the VUDU app on both tablets.

Any ideas of what the issue is?

Did you solve this? I have a similar problem with two Samsung 8 Tab A tablets (Android 6.01) and two Samsung 32GB Evo micro SD cards. The cards are recognized in the administrator profile for the Vudu App, but not in the kids restricted profiles. Other apps in the restricted profiles recognize the micro SD card fine.

I know this is probably old but I was just having trouble with this so I figured I'd add how I fixed it. My kid's desktop on the tablet is highly restricted so I just went onto mine and made the account adjustment there.
