Re: vudu on LG blu ray

Does anyone know how to activate Pandora on the LG via Vudu? I can't find an answer on the Vudu site that makes any sense. The FAQ says "click on Add User." Where is that?? I can't find an "Add User" on the LG, Vudu website, or Pandora website.

It was all over twitter yesteday also. So far the reponses have been positive. A few even stated how much clearer the picture that the VUDU service offers over netflix streaming.

I can't wait to try it out on the BD390 myself.

Netflix streaming isn't even in the same League as VUDU.

I picked up the BD390 tonight. I was hoping to try out the VUDU streaming but apparently the servers are down. Hopefully they get the firmware update back up tomorrow. I was hoping to use the HDX streaming this weekend.

The HDX streaming looks very good, I like that it bitstreams the DD+ audio too.

Re: vudu on LG blu ray

I had the same problem last night. My BD390 showed up yesterday after my first one was DOA and went to update the firmware and couldn't update. Called LG and they said that the firmware servers wouldn't' be up til latter.

Well I did update this morning and there was VUDU. I activated under my existing account but didn't get a chance to watch any movies since I had to run out the door for work. Previews looked fine though.

I am going to rent an HDX tonight. With the 99 cent movie of the day HDX at 99 cents will be my first pick.

aaronwt are you connected wireless or wired? Right now I didn't have the time to patch in the wired connection in my family room but wireless was real easy to setup and gave me 3 bars on the previews. With HDX I think I wired would be the best way to go since the streaming demands are much higher.

I'm wired, but since the BD390 has wireless N, if you use that I wouldn't think there would be any problems. But I have not tested their wireless N since I'm setup at home for 5Ghz N and the LG uses 2.4Ghz N.

I also noticed I got a $5.99 credit for a free rental when I activated my BD390. That was a nice surprise.

Braveheart was the 99 cent movie this morning. Is this done everyday? Is there a new 99 cent HDX title every day?

It's a new promotion we are running. There's a new 99 cent movie every day, and some are offered in HDX as you noticed with Braveheart.

I have had the new LG BD390 for a couple months now and I am very very happy with it! I saw an ad today for Vudu in the new ?Wired? magazine mentioning LG players. I went to the LG website and there it was VUDU!
I updated my Blu Ray Player by wireless and now I have Vudu!
It is about time!!! 1080P and 5.1 Dolby. I am so thrilled.
And thank you Criterion for being so smart and not being greedy!
I am having a issue with the better quality HDX streaming but I will work on it. I have a Linksys N Wireless router which does not like plaster! Bit i will try the Verizon Fios wireless 801 g for a trial too!

                              What?s Next??Netflix, Youtube, Fios 1080p 24/7 OMG please!
