      Re: IR support

It should work. From what I know it's based on the logitech harmony remotes and they do support vudu.

Or if it supports the JP1 protocol, we have a remote codeset in that protocol as well.

I'm excited that my Harmony 880 is controlling the VUDU box, but boy, couldn't that issue be addressed somewhere other than page 4 of the thread of this forum.

          Okay, done venting......

I think the online FAQ mentions this...If not, it should.

Will the IR Receiver dongle work with the Logitech Harmony RF Wireless Extender?

Is there an IR Receiver for the VUDUBX100? Will the Setup instructions work for the Harmony 880 on Page 4 work with a Harmony 1100?

As most people know the 1100 will not support RF, and the packaging is miss leading. the RF support is really only for their RF extender to broadcast behind closed doors and then it sends the IR codes.

                      Douglas,

The VUDU IR receiver kit will work on all of our models. The Harmony 1100 should work fine if you follow the same instructions.

                        Thank You,

Let me ask that question again. Is there an IR Receiver for the VUDUBX100? Did the unit ship with the receiver, and perhaps I misplaced it?

You know how opening boxes makes it feel like Xmas, perhaps it got thrown out with the wrapping paper. If so How do I order another?

No, the box didn't come with the IR receiver. It is a separate purchase. We have them for sale on our website. Go to Buy > Order at the top of the page to order one.

I was missing the Vudu remote, because it so well designed and ergonomic, but it inspired an idea. My master br suite shares a wall with the living room where the Vudu box is...So I drilled through the wall, got an HDMI splitter, and split the Vudu signal to between the two rooms (no problem @ 1080p even). The original Vudu remote works great through the wall, and the Harmony One stays in the LR.

Obvious idea, but it took the purchase of the IR dongle and the Vudu remote staring at me, lonely and forelorn. Now I'm rocking 2x the Vudu for the money!
When you select Vudu with the Harmony, what shows in the window and what buttons on the remote work? I have the dongle, but so far cannot get it to work. Did you remove the RF antenna before putting it in?

                            Thanks.

Can these still be bought anywhere?
