    The release dat is the theatrical release date?
    I thought it was the release date on VUDU. Is there a filter to show the release date that it appeared on VUDU? That way the newest stuff is first.

      The New on Vudu selection should take you to that. That's just a button as opposed to a filter, but that should give you all the newest items.

      The Release Date is the theatrical release date. It would not make sense to take a movie from say, 1995 and then have 2008 as the release date showing in Vudu. That way you would never find it if you were looking at movies from the 1990s.
