    VUDU Appreciation Day

Well I finally ran through my $150 worth of VUDU movie credits. To date we have watched over 38 movies from VUDU.

So until I can find a way to squeeze some more out you, I guess I'll have to actually start paying for the movies now.

But nontheless, I wanted to give my heart felt appreciation for the credits. It gave us a great opportunity to use and evaluate the product and service.

We got to watch movies, that we normally may not have watched, ranging from HD to oldie moldies.

From it all I find VUDU to be the "Best of Breed" provider of internet based movie entertainment providers that's on the market today.

Keep up the "great" work VUDU. I look forward to using your product for a long time to come. And thanks again for the generous credits you gave to try out your product.

Just tell me when you're plan to IPO so i can get some stock. I would ask NA9D, but he "knows nothing"!!

    Best Regards
    A newly devoted VUDU fan-boy.

The best way to do this is for us to pool our money and go in as a venture capital investor. Then we would get a really sweet pre-IPO deal!! We could call ourselves "Blockbuster Deals" !!

I see about 12 bux sitting on my desk here. How much do you have? I could raid the kids piggy bank (OK, it's a giraffe bank but that doesn't sound so good) since it's basically change my wife has pilfered off my desk.

So say my 20 bux and your money...Is that enough to be a VC?

The IPO waters are rough these days... I wouldn't count on it anytime real soon. Plus Vudu just secured some more private equity capital not too long ago (I read it somewhere I think).

Yeah, IPOs are not very popular these days. It's more about getting capital from VCs and private equity firms and then being bought by a large company. I suppose Vudu could do what Vonage did and issue all of us some stock or something to that regard.

Hey, Vonage did NOT issue all their customers stock. I tried to get in on the IPO but didn't get any shares. Then I was stupid enough to go and buy some on the market. Watched those bad boys go from $17 to $2. Oh boy.

I now no longer own the stock nor do I do business with Vonage...

I almost whimsically bought some shares of Google when they IPO'd. I think it was around $80/share then.

I didn't see (and still don't see) the value of Google. But I wish I had bought some shares anyways.

I wanted to get on Google IPO action, but didn't have enough dough since I was a poor college student. Maybe if I did, I'd be able to pay off some of my student loans, lol.

Sorry, I don't remember all the details as to who got the stock. But yes, the stock sure isn't doing very well. If you own it, you can only feel good if you got in in October of last year when it was a dollar (it's up to a whopping $1.83 now).

But amazingly, Amazon has had a long row to hoe, and has somehow stuck in there.

I'll give you my biggest secret to being rich: Buy Low.... Sell High....

                        It's so simple!!!

Amazon's actually makes money compared to Vonage or, unfortunately, TiVo. Still it's off 25% from it's 52-week high.

P.S. While I was pondering how we could get a stake in Vudu, I came up with a slogan that Vudu can use on t-shirts -- "Du U Vudu?". I'm pretty sure that it's ripped from somewhere, but hey, since it's using irregular spelling, it's brand new in marketing-land.
