    Re: No sound

    Is your system on mute?

It's in your own configuration, anyway. I'd bet on it.

      Re: No sound

I just rented a movie too, everything works, even the trailer I watched before the movie, but once I rented.....NO SOUND.

      Great picture, NO SOUND.

I know the name of the movie is called SILENT HOUSE, but this is NOT a silent film. The trailer had SOUND. Movie? NO SOUND.

Where do I get help for this?

Had to make an account to help out with this. I had the same issue. It is related to the Sony device you are using. Are you on a PS3 or what?

              Re: No sound

I have the same problem. I've got a Roku 2 XS, and an HK 445 (more than capable of handling DD+). With the Roku set to 5.1 surround, I get no audio on a rented movie, but the trailer plays fine.

I had to set the Roku to Stereo to be able to watch the movie I'd already paid $4.99 to rent.

I won't be using Vudu any more until they fix this. Shame, really, since I decided to give it a shot, having exhausted my interests in what's currently available on Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Your move, Vudu. My equipment can process DD+. Your app isn't passing the audio properly out of the Roku so my DD+-capable receiver can output it.

It has to be VUDU itself. First time I have had probems. Get the video but no sound. My laptop worked on Vudu before so I know it's not in my settings and Hulu works fine. This is on YOUR END VUDU NOT OURS.

Not to say it's not the same problem for sure, but this thread was from 2012 so you most likely don't have the same hardware that these users had. Have you started a support ticket as of yet? 888-554-8838.
