Re: What device do you use?

I have the old Vudu BX100 and BX1000 stand-alone STBs. None of my internet-enabled devices (mostly Sony) nor my 1st gen Roku XD 1080p do Vudu, although on a recent trip to NYC (from DC) my daughter and I watched a couple of our Vudu movies, one via Flixster on the iPad and the other on the laptop via VuduToGo. (That's what prompted my thread elsewhere about the VuduToGo keyboard controls.)

VuduToGo,... never heard of that. Where do we get that from?

It's the Vudu PC app that launches when you hit from "Download SD" on a movie you own from your PC.

Yeah, if you go to http://www.vudu.com/movies/ and choose a movie, you may see "Download SD" in the top row of buttons. (I'm not sure if this is available for all movies or not, so if you don't see it, try another.) If you click it, it will prompt you to download the app.

Mainly the ps3 since I can download them to it and not have to worry about buffering if I am doing a lot of things on my network. I will just use the TV apps if nothing else is running.

I don't care for the xbox app. For some reason it seems to buffer more than the other methods for me.

I use a Sony Blu-ray player without Wi-Fi capability that I purchased during Black Friday 2011 -- it's connected to one of my AT&T U-verse receivers with a Cat 5 cable, and works perfectly!

I primarily use the Roku 2 XS for Vudu. I also have an original PS3 fatty but tend to leave that for gaming.
