Going to try to update this, hang on.

Let me know if I'm missing anything.

Time After Time (OAR: 2.40:1, Vudu: 1.33:1) is now a new HD encode which is accurate ratio.

Please add the Director's Cut of Tropic Thunder to the list. It is now 16:9 when it should be 2.39:1 like the theatrical cut.

The Thing From Another World is cropped from 1.33 to 1.78. For shame. Worse, it’s like that in MA version too. It hit up MA; they said to ask WB, WB says it’s their fault, it’s the “ask your mother/ask your father” routine.

Welcome to the wonderful world of streaming frustrations, where no one takes any ownership of any issues whatsoever.

Retailer blames the studio. Studio blames the retailer. It is a vicious circle that causes customers to chase their tails.

There are two articles over on HomeTheaterForum dot com dedicated to these issues - Streaming Frustrations and the updated for 2022 Streaming Frustrations, Part 2. Feel free to join in on the conversation over there, as we usually get a bit more attention from studio reps.

It’s in the correct ratio on Tubi, however.

You can remove "Enter the Dragon" from the list. It has been corrected to 2.39:1 in all three formats (SD/HDX/UHD).

Also, "Tropic Thunder: Director's Cut" has now been corrected to 2.39:1.

Both Enter the Dragon and In the Line of Fire have been fixed in HDX.

I'm new to this forum. What is the point of it if VUDU refuses to stop changing the aspect ratios of media on it? We can gripe and complain all we want, but VUDU is the god here and they can do whatever they want and nobody can force them to change. What needs to happen to make VUDU STOP CHANGING THE ASPECT RATIOS???

I recently just bought Walker Texas Ranges. I was glad to finally see the entire series available. I've been wanting it for a while but nobody had it. I was quite disappointed to see the aspect ratio had been adjusted. I tried changing the settings on the TV, but the broadcast itself had changed. So the settings didn't help.

I just saw that the series is on HULU, guess what? HULU did NOT change the aspect ratio. WHY DID VUDU THINK IT NECESSARY TO RUIN / DESTROY the show?

Cahill US Marshall is not the correct 2.39:1 ratio.

The following titles have finally been corrected:

                            Christopher Robin (HDX-935650)
                            Dial "M" for Murder (10102)
