    $5 promo gone?

I added a $5 promo code when I bought my Roku and it seems to be gone on my account. Do they expire or something?

They do have an expiration, usually 30 days from the time it was added. The credit is good for any transaction you do, rental, purchase, and even in home D2D.

When it comes to redeeming promo codes, use it or lose it!

I wish they would send a reminder or something when codes are about to expire

I'd recommend getting in touch with Vudu customer service. It happened to me before and they put it back on my account.

FYI The $5.99 trial credit promotion is being phased out.
If you have one and it is still good I suggest you use it asap.

            Thank you.

Yes, after getting a new LG player and activating it I was expecting a $5.99 credit and it didn't show up. I called Vudu and they said that these promotions come from the manufacturers and that they are no long doing it. I guess it's not only LG that is phasing them out?

When I added my Roku 2XS that I bought at Sam's Club I got a $5.99 credit on my account. I added it to my account on 2/8/13 if that helps. I have since returned it because of the Roku 3 announcement and plan on ordering the Roku 3 soon.

$5.99 trial credit has been discontinued on Roku devices. It has been replaced with the 10 Free Movies promotion.
This applies to virtually all devices at this time.

                  Thank you

I guess this means the 10 free movie promotion will be starting soon. I hope they are good movies.

The 10 Free Movies Promo has been going on since mid December. It is a promo for new users , replacing the $5.99 trial credits. This is only valid for new users.

No, I was referring to the UV promotion, 10 Free movies when you buy a TV.
