    Bundled Purchases

    Hi all,

When you purchase bundled movies, my version of Vudu on a Vizio TV leaves the bundled pack together in my Vudu library, instead of splitting the titles up into their individual thumbnails. Flixster will separate the titles on my iOS devices, and maybe this is just a device issue for me. But, if not, it would make it easier to find and sort by title and look at movie ratings or casts. A recent example would be the purchase of WWZ bundle with Cloverfield, in order to see Cloverfield in my library, you have to open WWZ thumbnail.

    Thanks

It has always been that way, both with bundles and with preorders, and on ALL Vudu-enabled devices. Vudu claims that it will always be this way and that they cant change it. I don't believe it, but what can we do? Its only an aesthetic issue for me, and an extra button push or two, but it would still be nice if VUDU would address this problem.

If you redeem the 2 pack bundles on flixster they will show as individual icons on your VUDU account. I had been buying the bundle packs at Walmart and didn't like the fact that they were filed under each other. I tried redeeming one on Flixster where it always shows as individual icons and when I went back to Vudu it was individual there as well. The bundle isn't bad if it's a set, but when it's a bonus movie that came with your purchase it's easy to lose track of. I was on flixster and saw bonus movies like Sleepy Hollow and The Italian Job that I didn't even remember was in my account since I never see them when scrolling through.

Likewise when redeemed on Vudu and viewed on Target Ticket the bundles are broken apart and all the movies are shown individually. All the Walmart Pre-Order cover-art is striped / replaced as well.

Yea, I will never buy bundles on Vudu anymore, I stupidly bought the Sherlock bundle a few months ago and now realize that when Season 3 comes out it will be separate from Season 1 and Season 2 under the TV tab. So stupid...

            I prefer buying in bundles.

I have several. I like all of a brand to be together. I have all 4 Indiana Jones in HDX and it is nice to have a grouping.

For a short time, they had all Bond movies in one super expensive bundle. It only lasted a few weeks though. I half way expect it was a special order for some high end customer.

Someone mentioned the Wizard's collection of all the Harry Potter movies in HDX. I wish I had that too. I have all eight in HDX, but as separate thumbnails. It would be nice if my HP branded titles were in a bundle group so they do not take up a row and a half of screen space.

When your library starts to get large, that becomes a factor.

Anyway, for me, I actually like to purchase in bundles when possible. I also have the Mission Impossible four film bundle and the Ice Age 1-3 bundle. I added Ice Age #4 as a stand alone purchase.
