    Movies have disappeared

I rented "The Heartbreak Kid" a couple of months ago and have recently suggested it to a friend w/ a Vudu. She couldn't find the movie and I went and searched I could not locate it as well. It appears that certain movies have been removed. Is this a common practice?

    Thanks,

    Re: Movies have disappeared

Movies will rotate in and out of catalog based on the license agreements with the content providers. One common scenario is that the movie may be on a premium movie channel and during this time they have exclusive rights to it.

Give it time and it will probably be back on the VUDU within 30 to 60 days....

Yeah, it sucks to have some movies blacked-out. It's also the reason you sometimes will see "you have X days to watch" and X will be less than 30 -- it means the movie is scheduled to be pulled in X days.

Some of the notable titles that were blacked out the last time I checked are Bourne Ultimatum and Transformers.
