"This device does not currently support 3D"

I just purchased The Lego Movie in 3D and I got this message. I have a Panasonic DMP-BDT210 3D Blu Ray player (and obviously a 3D TV) yet it doesn't support 3D playback? I am also 100% sure I have seen Toy Story 3D on Vudu using this same exact setup, as well. Help?

Unfortunately I have had this issue. It seems not all VUDU apps are created equal. While your device (like mine did) plays 3d bluray it doesn't stream 3d because of the incompatible app. I cant say 100% that this is the case but it has happened to me. Especially with older 3d devices. I upgraded to a new model bluray player and it worked fine, same brand and everything.

      Discussed before.

You have to have 3D software (IE Vudu 3D movie), 3D Television, and 3D device to play the software.

That said as mentioned while a Blu-Ray player might be capable of playing 3D from Blu-Ray doesn't mean that the hardware or software in the Blu-Ray player is capable of playing back 3D from the player applications. They also might not open it up to the application 3rd party companies.

It's important to check with Vudu to confirm if a 3D streamer, blu-ray player, etc is capable of supporting 3D with Vudu.

Good example was PS3. It could do 1080P 2D or 720P 3D, but not 1080P and 3D. Which was funny since it was 4 times more than my Blu-Ray player which support 3D, 1080P and 7.1 audio from Vudu.

Vudu has little control over what equipment makes put on their boxes.
