    'loading vudu labs...' hangs

Hi everyone, just got a vudu, love it.
one problem so far, when i click the 'vudu labs' tab the 'loading vudu labs...' splash screen pops up and just freezes. Ive given it quite some time on a few occasions and nothing has happened. some times it will allow me to press the 'back' button, to get back to the home screen, and some times i have to power off the box to get back. any ideas?
    thanks!

Post your system ID here and one of the engineers can peek at your box and see what has happened. Be sure to indicate the approximate time(s) you tried Vudu Labs and failed.

well it is acting up again. If it hangs on the 'loading vudu labs...' i can usually press the back button, then press the vudu labs tab again and it will load properly. however, now a couple times it has immediately rebooted my vudu box when i do this. any ideas what is happening?

            thanks as usual

Can you tell us what sort of networking settings you have? Do you use DHCP to give the box an IP address or did you set it up for a fixed address? If you have no clue as to what I am saying, that is answer enough! Anyhow, I've seen problems with Vudu Labs and fixed IPs on the Vudu box, so that might be the problem if you have it set up that way.

i currently use DHCP to handle the IP, and it is wired (50' cat-6) directly to my router. comcast business line = 20Mb/s down, 4 up. sorry for the late response, I was out of town for a week. i have found that if it does hang, i can 'go back' and try again - usually sucessfully.

thanks again for the support on here!

                  Re: 'loading vudu labs...' hangs

It almost sounds to me like a DNS issue - your box isn't able to get the IP address of one of the servers it needs to connect to for Vudu labs.

You may want to open a support request with customer service. They should be able to pull the logs from your box and see what is going on.
