The Mountains Between Us 20th Century Fox only has Movies Anywhere Digital Copy

I have grown to like Ultraviolet very much over the past years mostly because of the ability to share UV movies with up to (5) family members or friends that each have their own Vudu account. So the news that Disney purchased 20th Century Fox did not set well with me, not that I have any control over it, since I knew that Disney would do exactly what it appears they have done. I got on Vudu to purchase The Mountains Between Us and immediately saw it only had a Movies Anywhere logo meaning it can not be shared via Ultraviolet.

Movies Anywhere does not let you share Digital Movies like Ultraviolet. Disney makes everyone purchase their own copy, no sharing allowed. That seems family oriented . . .

All new Marvel X-Men titles will probably only be available via Movies Anywhere as well as any new 20th Century Fox titles.

I guess I just now noticed that Kingsmen: The Golden Circle (20th Century Fox) is only available via Movies Anywhere. I wonder how long older 20th Century Fox titles will remain Ultraviolet.

I wonder how long Ultraviolet will survive the onslaught to make everyone switch over to Movies Anywhere?

I have noticed this for many new Fox titles, as well as newly released Fox catalog titles. I'm sure that whenever Lionsgate and Paramount joint MA, it won't be long until UV starts shutting down. It's such a bummer. I do have mixed feeling about it though. On the one hand, I really want there to finally be one system that includes ALL studios and movies, and includes ALL the major retailers. But, I HATE to see the UV sharing go away, which has also been so great for my family. I was hoping that the new system, MA, would eventually allow sharing like UV, but that seems extremely unlikely because of Disney.

Add Battle of The Sexes (Fox Searchlight) to the list of MA-only titles and add the fact that the Ultraviolet site no longer allows you to redeem Ultraviolet codes, and there are very few nails left to put in UV's coffin.
