    Wonder Woman UHD problems

    Wonder Woman
I upgraded to UHD and it will not let me play Wonder Woman in UHD...
It will let me play other movies I have in UHD such as Justice League, Thor Ragnarok, Coco and The Last Jedi but will not let me play Wonder Woman in UHD

It says there is a Network Error, does not play a single frame...
I know the Network Error is NOT on my end because I monitored my internet connection while trying it and it did not go down or even slow down and it only happens too Wonder Woman when played in UHD, everything else I have in UHD plays great, no issues at all

    Anybody else have this problem?
I contacted VUDU support about it a few days ago but they have not replied to me yet...

Well I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for that reply, but sometimes they'll get back to you.

You are playing via the Vudu app, not trying to "cast"?

Casting of UHD titles (many and almost all recent ones, but not all titles) does not work, and is a major known problem.

They (Vudu) can't seem to fix it, but also won't publicly acknowledge that it is an issue, so not sure what will happen.

I use Chromecast Ultra to cast Wonder Woman in UHD / Dolby Vision no problems. Looks fantastic!

What device are you using to play it?

                UPDATE:
UHD of Wonder Woman plays GREAT on the VUDU app built into my Samsung Smart TV but still does not play on my ROKU Premiere 4620X...
All other UHD movies I have play GREAT on my ROKU, only problem playing Wonder Woman in UHD...

The App on the Samsung seems to be more up to date but when checking for an updated version of the app for my Roku Premiere 4620X it is the latest version, it has not been updated for almost a year.
Maybe the ROKU app should get an update?
After all it's been almost a year since it was updated for the ROKU. Version 1.3 / April 7, 2017 is the most recent update for the VUDU ROKU app...

Yea. They need to update a lot of apps to make their UHD Dolby Vision and Atmos support claims true. Not a single platform on their supported list does this unless you replace your tv with a 2017 or 2018 model. My LG 2016 OLED65E6P native app does DV fine but no Atmos. Do they really expect me to replace my top notch TV that still does 3D with a new expensive TV and give up my 3D buying a newer model? They need to clarify their UHD device support list. Don?t just say UHD HDR compatible. Clarify. HDR10/DV. Atmos over TrueHD/Atmos over DD+. What combo on which device? I have the LG, Chromecast Ultra and Nvidia Shield. And I still have to choose between a Dolby Vision picture and Dolby Atmos sound? 3 supported devices and I cannot do both simultaneously? G

Wait til 2019 models come out then 2017's won't get supported, 2020...2018's loose their support. Buy a new model every other year? No way!!! Not going to happen!

Absolutely! And that means Vudu has to make their external players 1), work, and 2) more robust. Fix Chromecast Ultra and I'll be okay. And furthermore, add Dolby Vision to some other clients! I have an Nvidia Shield, but it does HDR only, not Dolby Vision. I don't think there is another external player option that does DV.

Can you try playing Wonder Woman on your Roku again?

On the downside though the ROKU app still has not been updated since April 7, 2017 (Over a year ago)
Still sitting at Version 1.3 ....
Maybe if it was updated it would fix the problems that have come up since the layout changed.
