Jake FelipeF I wasn't sure who to flag about this, but I figured the two of you would know the best people to get it noted internally.

In short, whoever is handling your ad buying is doing a poor job of targeting users.

The whole point of targeted advertising is to convert interest to sales. So, ideally, if someone browses content on VUDU, but doesn't purchase, your team is saving that cookie and then using an ad network to highlight those same titles in VUDU ads on unrelated web pages.

The ad team has the whole "save the cookie" part down pat, but instead of passing browsed-but-not-owned content, the VUDU ad team keeps passing recent purchases to the external ad networks. This means that VUDU is paying to advertise to me (and likely millions of others) the content that we just bought, as opposed to advertising new content that we may want to purchase.

If you're going to pay an external network to advertise to me, why waste spend on stuff that is already in my library? In that case, I'd much rather just get a bonus promo credit to spend on something directly.

If you need any clarification, just let me know.
