Private Parts Listed as HDX on Weekend Sale

Private Parts is listed as being in HDX on the weekend sale. The movie is only available in SD. Can this movie be fixed to include the HDX encode?

    https://www.vudu.com/content/movies/...te-Parts/13611

    Thank you!

Looks like they changed it from HDX to "reduced price" which probably means they won't be adding the HDX transfer. Amazon and iTunes has it though in HD.

This title is available in HD at other providers, including HD UV at FandangoNow - it would be nice if VUDU added it in HD as well.

Same. This is one of my favorite movies and I hate that it's SD only. (same with Candyman)

Amen with regard to both of these films. I have checked in on BOTH on several occasions over the past 2-3 years and been disappointed repeatedly due to SD quality being the only available option. How is it that studios would want HD purchases of a catalog title at one retailer, but basically BLOCK another one from selling the same exact quality? It doesn't make sense from a financial standpoint. Sometimes I wonder if it's just a matter of VUDU and/or the movie studios simply not reaching out to one another to inquire about selling the film in a better quality. Better quality = more sales, at least that's how it would work with my purchasing tastes.

I think they fixed it for you already. They changed it to "Reduced Price" so it no longer states HDX. Anyhow, the sale's over.

That?s not the main issue. It?s providing a HDX encode so it can be offered for 4.99 in HDX with another sale. I even asked about it in my opening post.

I doubt they care. So many titles we have been trying to get in HDX here with no luck, the thread you maintain is proof of that... I bet they don't even look at half of these posts here... sad because it's 2018 and HDX or even UHD should be offered when it's available. When you ask a studio about it, they say it's up to Vudu, but then Vudu says the studios say no... who really knows.

Any chance of this receiving a HDX encode on Vudu?

                        Thanks!

Can this receive a HDX encode on Vudu? It is HD on FandangoNow. I prefer watching/buying from Vudu.

                          Thanks!
