I wish they would start adding the smaller studios too. It will be a sad day when UV closes and they haven't really done anything for smaller studios when it comes to adding UHD. People will be upset.

      This is sad.

What is the story with A24? The biggest little distributor out there, with many of the best titles, yet...nothing in UHD.
High Life is coming up for sale next week and again NO UHD availability. I'd love to purchase this in 4K.
FandangoNOW sells this and many other A24 UHD titles, why can't Vudu?

That's a question that I've been asking myself for quite some time now. It is EXTREMELY unwelcoming to VUDU customers, and hurts the public perception of both A24 and VUDU. How an agreement to bring any and all available UHD versions of A24 films to VUDU hasn't been reached at this point is just flat out mindboggling. I wish I knew which party was most responsible for the omission of these films so I could contact them and apply some pressure.

I'm not sure which VUDU UHD problem is worse: the A24 UHD situation, the omission of dozens of Sony UHD titles at VUDU that have been purchasable at other providers for months / years, or the dozen or so Lionsgate UHD titles that are in the same boat. If I had to choose, I'd go with the lack of urgency in bringing catalog Sony UHD film versions to VUDU.

I wonder how many more UHD-quality titles would be on VUDU if studios were contacted more frequently to get permission to sell titles that other providers are already selling. Studio relationships / contracts have got to be playing a major role in excluding VUDU from selling certain films.

I'm considering adding contact info for each studio (links, emails, social media) so it can be easier to help customers contact and maybe if enough do, they will start adding UHD here? Anyone think this would be good idea?

Not a good idea for this forum.

The info would be on the Google page I run, not here.

                Backdraft is now UHD.

Live Free or Die Hard is now UHD on Vudu. I don't see it on the list though, so maybe it was already discovered and taken off.

Moneyball 4K UHD has been added.

Vudu, you need to get on the ball and start adding titles already released in UHD that other retailers have. You are losing our on sales, when I am forced to go to other retailers to upgrade my HD titles to UHD because Vudu has yet to add them. Now they sit in MA waiting and waiting, when Vudu could be making this easy money from me and I'm sure many others.

                          This 100%.

I've never understood VUDU's continual slow-playing when it comes to adding titles in the maximum quality available at their competitors. It only serves to cost them money, not to mention the fact that it's embarrassing.

Reign of the Supermen can be taken of the list. It has been upgraded to UHD.

I couldnt agree more. I just spent around $90 at FN when Vudu could have gotten it if only they added the UHD titles.
