Vudu on Android TV - Still Waiting

I "KNOW" how many millions of Roku's out there.

However, there's a massively large amount of Android TV's (Amazon, Razer, Google, Asus, Nvidia) that growing exponentially AND the hardware is SO much more advanced over the Roku 3.

Come on Vudu, make the Android TV app, it's NOT difficult.

I noticed last weekend that casting from the Vudu app does now work for the Nexus Player, although the aspect ratio is messed up.

I haven't seen any updates to the Vudu app for Android, so I'm assuming a recent Android TV update fixed the issue with the Vudu app not being able to cast to it at all.

Some of Vudu's competitors that support UV now either have native Android TV apps or can cast without the aspect ratio problems, so at least there are starting to be options for playing UV titles.

I hope Vudu starts to take Android TV more seriously. It would be great to finally have a native Vudu app!

I'm also waiting. Casting is sluggish with Vudu on my Nvidia Shield for whatever reason. 100 MBps internet on an Ethernet connection. A native app would be nice. Ive been with Vudu since the beta testing set top box days and have a large library in it. Right now, the best I can do is use CinemaNow to get UV titles to play. In a pinch, I have a Roku and my TV has a barely functional Vudu app as well. Don't like having to tell my wife to use a different box for each service. Maybe my Android TV purchase was premature?

BTW I did email support and they said they forwarded it on to engineering.....
