Is this seriously how I have to do this?

For the past 2 weeks I have not gotten the Wednesday "Deal Of The Day" email. The prior one was a $2 credit which, when I called about it got applied to my account immediately. Last weeks was a 10% off code, which, again I did not receive. Apparently, there is no way to just apply this to my account, so now I have to deal with buying something this way?

    Hello, Mike,

Thank you for contacting Vudu Customer Care,
I apologize for the inconvenience, but could you please let us know what is the title your would like to rent/purchase? Please be specific with the title, definition and either if it's a rental or purchase. Please make sure you have checked your email and its folders also.
We expect hearing from you soon.

NOW I get the discount? After the End of Year sale is over...awesome.

I guess I can use it on The Indian In The Cupboard, which is on sale this month

This is 2 weeks in a row I did not get the Wed Promo. I watched an eligible one for this week too, and my expectation is that I will be calling you guys again for the 20% off. I know I am not the only one experiencing this trouble, it really needs fixed or come up with a new way to distribute your promos. It is not worth all the time I have to invest in calling & emailing to get a dollar or two.

That would be a purchase of The Indian In The Cupboard...I never rent.

There has to be a better way to take care of this. The time involved on both sides is simply driving costs up for everyone. Not to mention, many factors go into a purchase, as I mentioned...the EoY sale is now OVER...I also base purchases on other factors such as balance in my Savings Catcher, balance in my PayPal, and at the very least, what I feel like watching at any given time. I guess I'll probably be jumping through the same hoops when tomorrow rolls around and I don't have my 20% off email either. If I'm lucky, maybe I'll know what I want to use it for in a week so you (CS) can get me my discount.

I would watch the free movies on my tv and get the promo codes without any problem but then there were two promos that I didn't get the codes for in my e-mail, got advertisements but no promo codes and customer service wasn't any help but for the next few promos I watched the movies in sd on my computer and I finally started getting my promo codes again. I don't know if that would help anyone but if another promo comes along I would suggest people try a few different devices, for whatever reason it worked for me and may work for you.

This is not the issue. They are aware I watched a qualifying title. I have not received an advert email since 12/14/18

This I honestly don't understand. You'd think that a company owned by Walmart would be able to figure out how to auto-apply credit to an account based on a promo.

It would certainly cut down on the secondhand market for Vudu codes if promos were auto-applied rather than being emailed out.

Problem with auto apply for us customers would be that the promo would apply to the next item we rented/purchased. Having the ability to add the code when we want to use it for a rental/purchase is better.

Auto assigning to the account would be better if we could then be prompted when renting/purchasing if we wanted to apply it to the purchase.

There is very obviously something wrong with Vudu's email system. There are quite a few people out there complaining about this. My recent issues receiving the discounts have been addressed by DonnyP via Private messenger. Thanks to him I got the 10% & 20% offs . I am still however, not receiving regular emails from them.

My thought about this whole "Movies On Us" is that with all the rewards they give out for watching their ads, they must be making pretty good money. Why don't they make it an across the board incentive & just credit our account a dollar for each one we watch. They could ditch this convoluted system & we can get what we want for our effort.
