Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc).     Bonus features

    Sorry if this has already been asked, but couldn't find it. Why do none of the movies that include bonus features have a director's commentary as well? I love those and this the main barrier keeping me from buying digital titles.

    It really up to the movie studio on what they make available to us. In most cases the Blu-ray will contain more extras and features not available for digital distribution.

      Thanks, Felipe. Do you know of any titles on Vudu that have a directors commentary audio track? I have not seen or noticed this yet for any titles, but I have seen plenty of featurettes, deleted scenes and regular video content for extras.

        We don't offer a commentary audio track option on our titles. If you are referring to an additional feature besides the main attraction where commentary is given, I'm sure some titles do have that but which ones I am not certain.

          Any word if Fury Road coming out tomorrow will have a subsequent "+ Bonus Features" option?

          currently, there is only the stand alone and I am willing to wait for a bonus feature bundle if one will be available.

            This, this is what i'm talking about right here. Its hard buying movies early release not knowing if the "+ Bonus Features" version debut's upon street date leaving you with a less superior version when you were willing to pay the extra to get the most.

              I agree. It is frustrating some times.

              I have learned to wait several days if I only see a stand alone copy to see if a + Bonus Feature version will come out a few days after.

              However, I do not feel I should need to. Not sure what the answer is though. I guess making both available at the same time (pre-order or not) may be the fix.

                It's silly that there's with and without bonus features instances of movies to begin with. There should just be one with them if available. UV redemptions should also grant access to bonus features and not just the movie.

                    Or they can automatically give the people that pre-order the title the Bonus features. I understand that they're subject to change until the date of launch, but if Vudu automatically assumes that we want more for our money, there won't be any issues.

                      I just got off the phone with customer service, this is what you do- call them up, get them to refund the price of the first copy then repurchase the new one with Bonus features. Takes about ten minutes, everyone's happy.

                        What I wish they would allow is for those of us redeeming the UV codes to allow us to redeem them for the special features version as well. It annoys me that we redeem the item digitally but dont get digital access to the special features as well. If this is an issue with the studios I hope Vudu can take this feedback to the studios and explain that this is what UV users want rather than this ridiculous confusing process where we have to re buy movies we own digitally just to get the features digitally as well.
