Don't blame Vudu. It's not their fault. Welcome to digital. You never own ANYTHING.

According to the studio, Paramount Pictures and Ultraviolet, they state that VUDU is 100% responsible for getting the Star Trek UHD Ultraviolet issues fixed. Actually, with Ultraviolet, you did "own" the licenses to those titles. With MA/iTunes you do not.

That is not true, licenses can be revoked at any time. You don't actually own anything tangible or get access to these movies forever. Vudu is just going to be the last place where your UV movies will live. Vudu is not responsible to get anything fixed to be completely honest, but I do hope they do their best to make the UV users as happy as possible with obtaining new UHD encodes. Let me 1000% honest, Vudu will not get everything resolved to our satisfaction. If you think otherwise, you are playing yourself.

Never once did I'd say they'd get everything on the list, nor do I except them too. What I want is something in place where it notices the UHD title owned even after the shut down so it adds it when Vudu does.

Did you purchase at Vudu or is this importing from Movies Anywhere?

Purchased at Vudu, porting to MA just fine, just not UV but is labeled UV+MA

Does anyone think this list will be looked at? I only ask because UV was removed from WB titles today, so I don't think they will add UV to titles that weren't previously UV on Vudu.

I hope you got your issue resolved in time because if it didn't it ain't happening now.

                        Ya think?

I guess Rex Strother can remove any UV issues with WB titles from the spreadsheet. 5 weeks, and what? Like 8 fixes? What a joke.

I'm glad I don't have any of the issues listed in the sheet.

Lets hope this gets looked at and better yet, worked on soon.

Will the UV removal from WB titles have any potential effect on these fixes? Same goes for the other studios that have already pulled out of UV - Fox and Uni come to mind. Anyone know? Or is it a non issue?

We've seen no movement by VUDU in the last month. In the same time, we've added 4 or 5 more titles that are known UV titles - sitting in UV lockers - that VUDU has not added UV rights to (not for purchase - merely for porting IN from UV).

If these can't seem to get a proper fix, I will have to rethink my digital streaming, and either switch to another service or just go back to discs altogether, this is crazy that none of them want to correct their mistakes, and they clearly do not care that customers have spent $$$ on titles they will lose once UV is gone.
