My movie counter has dropped

Perhaps I should start another thread, but my counter actually went up by 2 a couple of weeks ago. I had a bundle, Heartbreak Ridge & Firefox, that suddenly became Heartbreak Ridge and Firefox as 2 separate titles. The odd thing is that the bundle is still in my list. I've been assuming it has something to do with the "UV unwinding".

I have my own spreadsheet that I use to manually enter new films after each purchase. It's not very helpful in these cases though, as my collection is quite large, so checking to see which film is now missing would take hours... if I switch to this collection tool you mentioned, is there a feature that would instantly allow it to scan and report changes/missing titles?

In any event, I was able to solve the mystery of my 5 missing titles... turns out they're not missing at all! I had previously purchased 5 episodes of Masters of Horror when they were listed as individual films. VUDU has recently made seasons of that show available for purchase. As such, it looks like they simply converted my 5 movies into 5 episodes.

Ah! Thank you, my good sir! That was the issue with mine count as well. I had previously purchased ONE of the Masters of Horror films (Cigarette Burns, in case anyone is curious, best of the bunch in my opinion) which was the single film that dropped off my counter. The funny thing is that I actually did notice that my TV Show counter had gone up by one but rather than looking into it I figured I had just forgotten to update my count after my last purchase.

Incidentally, I think I had previously paid $6.99 for the single film and now they're selling the whole "season" of all 13 films for that same price! What a deal!

I use the tool and have my own spreadsheet too. Nearly 2,000 titles listed, and I get threw off so much when I forget to add something new. LOL

I'd suggest running monthly or weekly (if you buy a lot) scans using a collection tool and spreadsheet. Just Google "Vudu Collection" and you should find something from FMBB. I've been using it for close to 2 years. Very helpful!

Thanks for this. I saved my list just now so I have something to reference if my count drops after UV goes away.

If UV dying means we can finally break Vudu bundles into individual films, it'll be worth the death of UV.
