InstaWatch: (Lair of the White Worm)

Felipe F., I hate to bother you with this, but I just received a response on a case I opened with VUDU Support, 190318-000417, concerning receiving INSTAWATCH with my Walmart.com purchase of Lair Of The White Worm on Blu-Ray. It specifically lists Instawatch in the description. As I didn't receive it in My Library, I opened up a case with VUDU, verified my purchase, and after about a week or so, they just responded saying that because it was fulfilled by a "Marketplace Retailer," (yet sold by Walmart.com) I CANNOT receive the INSTAWATCH copy of the film. I have never encountered this before. No matter who sent me the item, as long as it's was sold to me on Walmart.com, either I have received the INSTAWATCH copy, or I reached out to VUDU support and the film was added to My Library. Nowhere on Walmart.com's description of the film does it say you must order something "Sold & Shipped by Walmart" in order to receive INSTAWATCH. Why would I continue to purchase movies on Walmart.com if I have to check every single time if the one I'm buying is "Sold & Shipped by Walmart" in order to get the INSTAWATCH. When I ordered the film, I did not notice that it was being fulfilled by a "Marketplace Retailer." I just went to the listing right now, and it clearly states that the item is "Sold & Shipped by Walmart." Why and when did it change? Again, if you could look into this, I would really appreciate it. I don't want anything extra, just what I paid for. If that can't be fulfilled, then I need to return the item and stop buying movies on Walmart.com thinking I'll be receiving INSTAWATCH. Thank you, as always, for your efforts, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Yes, sir, I believe I do. Is it this one, Incident #190318-000417? Let me know if it is not, and I check my VUDU Customer Service e-mail again. Thank you so much, FelipeF. I really appreciate it.

Yes, it's true. In order for a title to be InstaWatch eligible, the physical disc must be "Sold and shipped from Walmart.com", not a 3rd party seller from the Marketplace.

Where is this stated? Walmart advertises a number of titles sold by Marketplace sellers as Instawatch eligible.

As a consumer, if it is in the "Instawatch by VUDU" section the average person is going to expect an Instawatch copy with the order.

Items that are not Instawatch eligible should not be listed under
"Instawatch by VUDU" on Walmart.com. If they are, the Walmart and VUDU should honor what was advertised.

I doubt they are going to make separate listings for third party sellers just for this reason. Buying from a third party seller is the same as buying it from someone on eBay, it's not going to include IW. You might get lucky with a digital code (if any), but no IW.
