Buy it on iTunes for the same price. They have it right.

I only see it in HD or SD in iTunes.

Can it be available for UHD in Vudu, please?

But iTunes only has it in HD as well. I don't think any retailer has UHD from what I can tell, not even Kaleidescape. Why not just buy it in HD here at Vudu?

Well, if 4K ever comes out, at least it will upgrade to 4K in iTunes. I purchased the documentary Free Solo on VUDU, and weeks later they added it in 4K, but it requires me to rebuy it at full price for the 4K. Had I purchased it on iTunes (for the same price), I could at least watch it in 4K now via iTunes without paying again. So if the price is the same, and it is Movies Anywhere, VUDU really doesn't give us a big reason to purchase directly in HD. If 4K already though, I always purchase at VUDU if price is the same.

Good point. My only issue with that is that you can only watch it in 4K on iTunes. On MA it stays in the definition it was originally purchased so it doesn't get upgraded anywhere else.

Very true, but at least you have the option to watch it on iTunes in 4K at all without having to pay again. Which is why I regret my Free Solo purchase, since it's stuck in HD on both services, when I at least could have watched it in 4K on iTunes had I purchased there for the same HD only price I paid at VUDU. I'm buying They Shall Not Grow Old on iTunes for that reason now, since it will port here anyway, and if it ever comes out in 4K I can watch it on iTunes without paying again.

Yes, me too. I was mistaken earlier when I thought They Shall Not Grow Old was already 4K on iTunes. But, like you said, I would still purchase it at iTunes in this situation because of the potential free 4K upgrade later.

Does anybody know if this is getting worked on so that it is fixed before the sale ends?

                    Thanks

Stuff like this has happened in past sales. The most that will happen is the tag will be changed to HDX because it was a mistake. I will say though with Apple finally allowing the iTunes app to be on other devices besides just Apple products, the free 4k upgrades, and Vudu no longer having a sharing system iTunes is starting to look more appealing then they ever have to me.

I currently own 148 UHD movies that Vudu doesn't have in UHD. I purchased almost all of these at iTunes and FandangoNow. So, yes, Vudu must step up their game to be more appealing. Vudu still has features that are a lot better than these other streamers, but I sure wish they were competing better on the UHD front. They would be getting more of my money if they were!
