Note that with a lot of recent releases - such as the ones listed - there are not a lot of UPC or Studios involved. These are new releases with a UPC for its BR release and UPC for 4K release. These UPC have worked in-store, but ... again ... not if purchased online. So ... there's an issue.

I called Walmart.com last night and while the man I spoke to tried really hard he couldn?t find a way to refresh or help me with movies I purchased online that are not showing up IW so he directed me to vudu

The girl I spoke to at vudu tried to find some way also but her boss basically said that when I purchased the movies there wasn?t an IW promotion attached so now that there is IW They can?t go back and add the movie, I would have to rebuy the movie now to get IW.

It?s unfortunate because I don?t need 2 of the same movie and also if I purchase in store I can always refresh the receipt which I explained to her , there should be a way to do that with online. Some of the movies newly IW i purchased more than 90 days ago so I can?t rebuy them and return the other. Such as:

    Constantine city of demons

    Freedom fighters the ray

    A private war

Instead of making a statement this time, I will ask a question.

How do we know an online Walmart.com title is Instawatch?

In store most have a sticker. Without a sticker it is pleasant surprise when they do have Instawatch.

when I returned it I returned the second purchase a and lost my digital movie. The first one is past its return date. It stink so because when I first purchased ornament online IW wasn?t active and now it is amen now I lost the movoe
so Ian there anything that can be done about that? This isn?t also similar to my knee mlvies over purchased that online previously they weren?t IW but now they are and I can?t go back and rebuy them as their return date hasn?t expired. Isn?t there a way to refresh an online order the way I can rescan my in store receipt that way the movie can be added IW ?
Please contact customer care and create a ticket with them so they can take a look at your issue. This is something that cannot be resolved on this forum.

That's great to know - it may lead to understanding why online purchases of IW titles aren't delivering the IW email to buyers. Because people buying those titles at Walmart.com are not getting the IW email. Perhaps an issue at Walmart.com? Could VUDU reach out to Walmart.com and check those specific titles? Might see a pattern.

I still would like a definitive way to know what is and isn't IW. If there is a difference in store vs online to know that as well.

This way a comparison can be made if things aren't as expected.

I suspect there may be a Google doc somewhere but that is user supported and not official. I've tried using the Walmart website and it isn't clear.

Older titles can be hit or miss but newer released movies have a fairly good track record of working both in store and online.

Maybe it's an issue with Walmart's website then? I've heard Shazam! works in store but isn't working online. Felipe, if you can, could you please test a movie that was added to Instawatch in the past week or two and see if it actually works when ordering it through Walmart.com?

This was an issue before and you guys got it got fixed - [see closed thread link below].

Some in-store IW gets enabled, but the online version does not.

Could you reach out to Walmart again and get it fixed again?

If someone at VUDU could try "purchasing" one of the titles listed as at issue from Walmart.com into a test account, you'd see the issue we mention.

I wish there was a good accurate list of what is Instawatch online and in store. Searching on walmart.com isn't very helpful. When I buy from walmart.com and in store it is actually a great surprise as to what is Instawatch. Yet my most recent online order produced zero titles.

    Next Avengers
    Man Who Knew Too Little
    Hulk Vs
    Planet Hulk

    are not Instawatch online.

I had hoped that Second Act was Instawatch in store only to read in a post it was Online only.

At least sometimes in store there is a sticker on the disc or shelf tag which indicates that it is Instawatch.
