The Fandango at Home Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Fandango at Home experience. Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc). Although the primary purpose of these forums is to help Fandango at Home customers with questions and/or problems with their Fandango at Home service, there are also off-topic areas available within the Fandango at Home Forums for users to chat with like-minded people, subject to the limitations below.

Vudu's 'Thor' (2011) is too dark

    @FelipeF, VUDU's encode is absolutely not fine, and you must reach out to the studio again. You literally can not see a thing in the opening scenes. It's not fair to us paying customers.

    This seems to be a DMA issue.

    They all look fine on Amazon Prime. I'm only finding them to be too dark on DMA movies
    Have you tried watching it on the DMA app itself ? i watched Thor on VUDU and it was horrible then i watched it on the DMA app on my roku and it looked great

    The Force Awakens is too dark too 😢

    So is Captain America: The First Avenger

    This seems to be a DMA issue.

    They all look fine on Amazon Prime. I'm only finding them to be too dark on DMA movies

    Sadly, it is not I don't understand why the studios don't care enough about their own products to want the best picture available to be out there

    Guardians of the Galaxy is really dark by default especially when watching the 3D version. Didn't like 3D on that movie because it was so dark.

    We've been through this issue when the movie was first released. The studio has already told us that our encode is fine as is.

    its bad if you watch it on any other DMA provider its much better

    Vudu's 'Thor' (2011) is too dark

    My wife and daughter and I started watching Thor this afternoon. The opening scenes were so dark that we had trouble seeing what was going on. We stopped it and watched in on Amazon and it looked fine. I think vudu got a bad encode. It's entirely too dark.
