Hateful Eight - NOT Roadshow Version

Sadly it appears that The Hateful Eight is NOT the Roadshow version.

Vudu states the running time as 168 (Roadshow is stated at 187, regular 167)

Vudu doesn't state aspect ratio but it appears to be 16:9 (Roadshow is stated at 2.76:1)

Realize this is the studio and not Vudu but so sad, especially since I would think Q.T. would be pushing the Roadshow release.

It's not 16:9, since there is significant letterboxing on 16:9 TVs. As far as the edit used, don't know, but based on Wikipedia info on it, it sounds like it's what Tarantino intended for non-70mm release...

"Tarantino edited two versions of the film, one for the roadshow version and the other for general release. The roadshow version runs for three hours and two minutes, including six minutes of extra footage plus an overture and intermission, and has alternate takes of some scenes. Tarantino created two versions as he felt some of the footage he shot for 70mm would not play well on smaller screens."

So maybe we have the Roadshow Ratio but the Roadshow extra time or cut?

QT said that he doesn't want the Roadshow version released on home video. Honestly it's fine with me as that movie is long enough
