The Fandango at Home Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Fandango at Home experience. Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc).                         Well now that it works, it's even worse, as there's a question in the survey that causes issues with other questions later in the survey.

                        It's a question about which services you will and won't consume (and how) in the next 6 months (based on a previous answer of which ones you know about - but don't necessarily consume. KNOWLEDGE ISN'T USE, VUDU). There is no option to NOT answer for each service (i.e. if I am not going to consume one, then I can't just leave the options empty). Later, there's another detailed ranking for each of those, and because you had to put in a bogus answer for that original question to get further in the survey, it assumes you need to rate the services which you may NEVER or may have NEVER consumed. So... more 'made up' data.

                        I don't know who QA'd this survey, but they didn't do a very good job. They are going to get a lot of really crap data back because of it, if people don't just give up on the initial 'borked' question.

                          I got the corrected link. I do have some issues with the survey (for example, they put a limit on the number of movies you could say you owned that I'm thinking a lot of people will go over. There was no option to say you cut the cord for the "how do you get your TV shows?", just cable or over the air. Stuff like that.)

                            Even weirder, people coming back to offer suggestions on the Survey.

                            Survey question at 36% "which of the following specific digital services have you used to buy, rent or stream movies or TV shows in the past six months?"

                            I haven't rented from any of them, but that is not a valid answer, it won't let me pass. I had to answer I rented from all of them to get pass the question

                            It's populated from a previous question, "which are you aware of". I'm aware of a bunch of services, but I choose to use VUDU almost exclusively.

                              This survey is nuts. First they have you list the number of movies you've bought a physical copy of, a digital copy of, how many you've STREAMED etc. Ya... that might be fine for a casual television watcher, but I'm not spending time counting all of that. I'm not sure I even could. I'm just going to throw semi-random guesstimations out I guess, since it would take me FAR longer than the 20 minutes they say the survey takes to get even close to accurate numbers for that. Plus, they have individual episodes separate from seasons. What am I supposed to do with that? Are episodes supposed to be counted separately or am I supposed to count the episodes bought along with the seasons? You want me to try to even guess at that with streaming? Come on...

                              Then they ask you which services you've HEARD of. They ask you questions about them They use the services you've heard of as a basis for future questions. Then they ask you which services you've used in the last six months and in which ways. Then they REQUIRE you to answer at least one box as to how you use each service, and there's no option to say you haven't used them. Well, those results are skewed now because you forced me to give you incorrect answers.

                              Then they asked me which service I've most recently decided to stop using. I use Netflix and Hulu. The rest I've heard of and never used. You just basically made the data say (I'm inferring this from how the question is worded) that I still use all those services I never said I use in the first place. Later in the survey it again makes you answer questions about these services you've heard of, asking things like what the video quality is like. How would I know?! More pointless data you're forcing me to make up.

                              Then it says I've previously used Vudu to purchase and rent movies and TV shows, but haven't been doing so from Vudu recently. What? I had to restart the survey and read each part very carefully to make sure I wasn't crazy. Nope, this survey is crazy. At no point did I ever say that, nor did it even ask! I had to use the "other" category to say the survey is being ridiculous.

                              Then I get to the part MovieLover500 mentioned. It won't accept the number of movies I own? What? Wow, I feel insulted by the survey/Vudu. I own 506 movies. Apparently it won't let you claim over 500 in the survey. I guess that's just a little unrealistic, huh? Nobody would own that many! These are just the major problems I have with the survey. I could write a post 5x this long about all the little nitpicky problems I have with it. This survey is garbage, and I'd rather have the HOUR of my life back it took to do it than the measly 4 dollars. Which brings me to my last point. Vudu is PAYING people to take a broken survey! First the link is broken, then the survey itself is garbage! Did nobody test this before sending it out? FFS... I don't think a survey has ever made me irritated like this before...
