    So it's ok to give the residents of California the option to tell vudu not to be recording and selling their data simply because California passed a statue saying that their residents get this privilege. This is messed up, everyone should have this option. Not only that, but really it should be an "opt-in" option to be tracked not opt-out. Like, who the eff asks permission to not be tracked? It should be the other way around and them ask us for permission to record and sell our data. This needs to change not just for vudu but for any & every corporation trying to act like private investigators.

    Or did i just not see this option for non-california residents?

    It's okay for Californians because like you said, it became law in California, it's that simple. Contact your local congressperson and speak with them if you want something similar in your state. You're barking up the wrong tree.
