    ROKU App, What Happened .... It's Horrible Now

    What the heck is up with the new ROKU app ?!?!

    The whole thing has changed in the last day or so.

    First thing you see now is your offers. Who needs to see this each time they launch the app? Then you click over to your movies. THEN you click over it free. And THEN you get to all movies.

    But when you get to movies all the groupings you used to see on the old home screen are gone.

    I no longer see a new release section. You can't use the existing release date as that's not reward date on Vudu, but theatrical release date.

    I also don't see collections anymore. No Disc + Digital. No preorder. Nothing.

    What the heck. What functionality we had has largely been stripped out and were left with a hollow shell of an app.

    I use Vudu every day, even when traveling, and have had an account for many year. I also own thousands of movie in Vudu.

    I used to goto my Vudu app on my Roku at midnight Tue morning between more late night bingeing to see what was new and if it was something I wanted buy it right there. And I buy a lot. I can't even find what's new this week so I guess that's not happening anytime soon.

    Very disappointed.

    My app looks the same. Says it is version 1.3 and no updates are available. What version is yours?

      I'll have to check when I get back from the office tonight.

      I will say I thought maybe it was something to do with an improper or incomplete app load. But I went in and out of the app several times. I also tried forcing an app. Lastly I reset the whole ROKU. Nothing made a difference.

      I should have taken photos. But watch I'll go home and it will be back to normal. We'll see.
