Re: VUDU's Customer Service Going Down Hill

I've had two problems escalated to the content team to handle. Just changing two regular editions to the director's cuts as they should be. Can't get it done. One of them has been sitting there for weeks.

Personally I think Vudu's customer service is above average & actually pretty good in contrast to other companies. I would suggest calling customer service because they can handle title deletions once you get a rep on the phone. BTW a simple google search for:"Vudu Customer Service Phone Number" isn't so difficult to do & produces a valid method of contacting their customer service reps. I'll never understand how in the age of information people can "search everywhere" & not find something anywhere that I was able to I find in a 2 second google search... Laziness NEVER prospers js

Well, apparently it's not important enough, as it's been close to a week and I still haven't received a response to my original email. All I'm asking is to delete a few movies from My VUDU library. Anyone else experiencing the same?

I had an open ticket about a movie I redeemed in March not being added to my library. After several months and getting the exact some stock message about it being passed up to a higher investigative chain and to be patient I opened another one up to ask what was going on, since something like this happened before and it turned out it was sent to the wrong department and wasn't actually being investigated. I got the same stock message back then a few weeks later they were both closed without any response or being resolved.
I called the number and was given a new code so I thought it was resolved, but the code doesn't seem to work.

Hopefully you keep calling until they fix it. I hate when something goes wrong on the their part and they act dumb, or act as thought I've done something wrong. It's this way with other companies, not just Vudu.

Yeah I've got an open ticket since 3/28. Sent them pics of DVD and receipt, a screenshot of the receipt in the walmart app where it even says it comes with digital and the last few answers I got were that it was sent up the chain and they would contact me when they have an answer.

Not with Vudu purchases or codes redeemed through Vudu. It will delete from your UV library and any services linked to UV, but not Vudu. Vudu can only remove Vudu purchased/redeemed titles from your Vudu library.

It may be time to start shopping around for another UV streaming site in which to store my library. I've already stopped buying any non-UV titles that I won't be able to bring with me.
The good news is that you will not have to shop around much. There aren't very many UV streaming sites. The bad news is that they all suck. In my opinion, even though Vudu has it's share of problems they are the best. Fandango (formally M-GO) is okay, but if you have a large collection like me you will not like how slow their service is when you try to access your UV library on their site. CinemaNow has been around as long as Vudu and their service is decent, but you have the same issues with Customer Service. They also didn't seem to have nearly as many titles available as Vudu, which is the main reason I stopped using them a few years back.

Not a big an of CN either but I will give them credit for having some movies you can home D2D that you can only take to Walmart using VUDU's D2D... Wish VUDU could get that resolved as I would rather do all of my collecting through them and not have to rely on other services.
