Trailer and lists only???????

I've been noticing that, maybe since the purchase by Fandango - maybe not, that there are a number of titles that, if you search for them, will allow you to either view a trailer or add the film to a 'list'..... but nothing else.

There is no options to purchase or to rent.

So, then....... what the heck is the point of this?

Want an example? Try looking up 'Re-Animator'. You'll find it, along with its two sequels, both of which are available to purchase or rent but the original is only available to be added to a list or to view the trailer... and nothing else.

I've discovered a few other films that have this same oddity going on.

Anyone else got any explanation as to why this is occurring?

It's been that way for a LOT of titles LONG before Fandango purchases Vudu. I made a thread about it, asking for a whole bunch to be made available to buy. So far, only one has (and I removed it from the list).

(I don't know why I can't ever post Vudu links. I understand it would be bad for people to post potentially harmful external links, but my threads & posts get "Unapproved" whenever I copy/paste a VUDU link to either the site itself or even the FORUM here!)

That is very annoying, but from what I've seen most of mine are approved when posting Vudu links...
