    I want a refund

I feel like I have been scammed by a Nigerian prince. The moment the Batman vs Superman digital version was available for preorder I bought it so I could view it as soon as possible. Now the day of the release comes and I only get the theatrical cut which I paid $20 for. Meanwhile today people can get the theatrical and extended versions together , watch them just as soon as I can, and pay $5 less. I'm of course going to keep using Vudu to watch my movies but as of now I don't know that I trust them enough to actually pay for the content here.

I'd recommend contacting VUDU support directly as opposed to via the forum. Hope they can assist you.

So I was at work and remembered that today was the day that the digital was released. So I logged into Vudu on my phone expecting to see both movies and when I realized what had happened I got really upset and reacted as if it were Vudu who had done this not Warner Bros.

The way preorders have always worked is that if the price gets lowered by the day it becomes available then you get the lower price. If additional items get tagged onto the package then you get those additional items. When during the time leading up to the extended edition going on sale I just assumed that I would be getting the extended edition and lower price so I didn't even bother double checking.

Now I realize what WB did. If they had advertised it as "buy the theatrical version get the extended edition as a bonus", then they would have had to give the extra movie and the lower price to everybody who had already preordered. So instead they deliberately released it as "buy the extended edition get the theatrical version free". So yes, I'll be applying to Vudu for a refund. But not I don't think I want to buy the movie after all. I'll probably wait till somebody is giving away their ultraviolet copy.
