2 Guns Downgraded from UHD to HDX

Looking thru my catalog this morning I noticed the movie "2 Guns" has been downgraded from UHD to HDX. I purchased the UHD upgrade on Vudu. Looking at my catalog on Fandango I see this movie is still at the 4K UHD level. Seems strange to me, but Vudu, you sold the upgrade to me, and now that you have taken it back, could you provide a reason why and a resolution. Thanks

Pretty sure this is one of the Universal titles that is only 4K on FandangoNow, since it's the same company. A handful of Universal titles are 4K only on FNow, but still port to MA as 4K. From what I've read, it only ports in 4K from UV, but still only played as HDX. This is prob. why they removed, since it was never really 4K there. Much like their error with Suicide Squad Extended.

That fits then with what my records showed. Those records show I purchased this digital movie from FN on 7-19-18 and it ported 4K on FN and MA on that date. The next entry shows Vudu upgraded this movie on 8-18-19 to 4K. My records show this movie was watched twice after that on Vudu. It says both times were 4K, so it must have been a great looking 1080P!

The one thing I left out which was the reason for responding, was that I was in error on my first post by saying I purchased from Vudu, which upon review, and as I stated above, I purchased from FN.

Hopefully with FN and Vudu being owned by the same people now, they can get some of the FN only titles upgraded in Vudu. Time will tell.
