VUDU expires VLSS $5 credits 2 months early.

Why does VUDU continually expire credits earlier than the dates printed on the code stickers?
VLSS credits show an expiration date of 2/3/2021

Turns out they actually expired on 12/1/20 7:00P

This is certainly not the first time they have pulled this stunt.
How can they get away with putting an enticement to purchase a DVD or Blu-ray in the form of a $5 credit with a specific expiration date and then expire the codes early?
How has a consumer protection agency not slapped their hands over these shady practices.

VUDU has done this in the past when fully owned by Walmart. Not their first rodeo in cancelling a code 2 months prior to the stated expiration date.
It allows them to move a bunch of excess DVD's and Blu-rays under the guise of getting $5 VUDU credit.

They either just ignore inquiries or put you in an endless loop of asking for receipts and such that have nothing to do with the the scammy practice on their end.
My favorite is when they ask for a photo when you already sent them.

Of course the obvious fix is to re-activate the prefix with the expiration date they initially promised when the product was purchased.

DM me the actual code so I can look it up on my end. We'll take a look at this and get back to you.

              Thanks Felipe!
So does that mean the printed expiration on the code is now correct going forward?
