Need help from experienced VUDU users. VUDU Mix & Match purchase issue (NOW FIXED)

    Need help from experienced VUDU users. VUDU Mix & Match purchase issue (NOW FIXED)

    I tried to buy from last week's Mix and Match TV sale and was not able to do so. It didn't matter what device I used even though the result was different on some. On a Roku or LG Smart TV I would get an error message. If I did it on a PC or a smartphone through a browser it would show the Buy Bundle followed by two buttons which are Confirm Purchase and Cancel. The Cancel button works but the Confirm Purchase button is not a solid background color. It only shows the outline of the button but if you hold down the button with a mouse and move off of the button, the button does appear to have the background color for a brief moment. Also of possible interest as to what is going on is that the sales tax, purchase price, etc. between the Buy Bundle wording and the Confirm Purchase and Cancel doesn't show like it would on a single movie purchase but maybe that doesn't happen on Mix and Match sales at that point??

    I spent a few hours getting support from VUDU over chat and over the phone with no success and the last person I talked to said there were no issues at the moment with Mix and Match.

    Here is some more information that might help. I was able to do a Mix and Match purchase back in April. They told me to try to clear my cookies which I don't believe would help since I don't think the smart TVs I own would use cookies. I also suggested the culprit might be VUDU credits. I have spent all of my credits to see if that was the issue but it didn't help. I do have one credit still left that I can't use. It was apparently for a Jurassic Park series rental but I own the entire series so I can't get rid of it until it expires at the end of August. I also deregistered all of my devices again with the same issues still happening.

    Anyone who has had issues or is very familiar with Mix and Match transactions in the past is welcome to offer suggestions. I don't want to miss out on this week's Mix and Match sales like last week's again.

    In the past, rental credits have caused issues with mix and max purchased. Even $0.01 left from a rental credit prevented purchasing Mix and Match. That Jurassic Park rental credit could be what's standing in the way of you purchasing Mix and Match. You could try contacting Vudu and ask them to remove the rental credit from your account.

      UPDATE: I am able to make Mix & Match purchases again!

      It was indeed the $5 rental credit from the Trolli candy promotion that I had and couldn't use that was messing my end up. After not getting a response back after around 72 hours I went and tried to chat and after about a little over an hour I got someone named Alexis who was skeptical about my suggestion that it was the rental credit. But the person managed to get approval from someone else at VUDU to have the rental credit removed and the page went back to being a regular purchase page with the price information like it does for a single movie.
