Martha Marcy May Marlene is a MA title it seems so there is that. It's also on sale for $5 with Prime Video. All other MA retailers are like Vudu and even Google Play Video are $10.

I'm a little confused. What does Martha Marcy May Marlene have to do with Licorice Pizza?

Notice the OP edited their message after I posted. Both were initially mentioned by OP. He also added the comment one movie issue solved as well.

Ah! Makes sense. Thanks for clarifying.

I'd also be very curious to get the answer to this more general part of the original poster's question. In my case, a while back the "complete" Farscape (well, seasons 1-4 at least) was listed on sale for $70, but Apple had it for $40 so I ended up getting it there instead. But I'd rather have all my content together on Vudu if they'd been able to match the $40 price. I didn't contact support at the time because they have been very busy and so delayed, therefore if the Apple price had been a sale (I was never sure if it was or not) it would have been too late by the time they responded. I had this happen with another question related to a sale; the response was too late for the answer to remain relevant (the sale was long over), so for this question it would have been very nice to know the answer to this question (price match) in advance.

              Thanks

Let’s see if a mod responds.

But I’ve never seen a price match policy if any kind. I don’t think Apple, Google, Prime, etc price match their streaming content either.

its aways worth posting a request though. ESP if the sale price wasn’t loaded or loaded wrong.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, that would be great if a mod will check into this and let us know. Even a "no, there is no price match" answer would be helpful in terms of setting customer expectations.

As for the sale price not being loaded correctly, it is interesting that you mention this since this was actually exactly the example problem I was referencing in my earlier post when I contacted support but the sale was over by the time they had a chance to reply. (Specifically, all Futurama seasons were listed as being on sale including the movie season but the prices on those movies weren't actually reduced since the 4 movies are sold as separate items rather than there being any actual collection; that season is just a container, not an item itself so the price of each movie would have had to been set individually. When support later responded, the sale was already over so the problem wasn't clear to them and there was no solution other than asking for this to be fixed in the future if it ever happened to go on sale again).
