I read elsewhere this will not be fixed. If upset perhaps you can try requesting a refund.

Sadly, if you've started the movie, even if you got the the opening credits and realized it was the wrong movie, and stopped watching, they will more than likely refuse a refund request.

Wonder if the rights owners are aware of this. Sony owns the remake, not sure who owns the original. I'm fairly certain the correct studio is likely not collecting royalties.

My guess is that they'll fix it about five minutes after it is no longer D2D-eligible

Nope, and doubt it will be for a long time, if ever.

I see that it is no longer available for sale or rental.

Vudu just added 5 or so Criterion, maybe we will get lucky with this one soon...

                FelipeF any news?

The Blob (1958) issue is now resolved. Those who own this title have access to the main feature.

...and, as predicted, no longer eligible for M2D/D2D

(I scanned it a while ago and it worked. I had it in my cart, but did not go through with the purchase because of this problem. I just re-scanned the same upc code, and it scanned ok, but it says the upc is no longer eligible.)

It may be fixed, but for those waiting for it to get fixed prior to purchasing still cannot purchase it.

That's the downside. It prob. was never meant for purchase, and added by mistake. They were prob lucky just to get a transfer to please those of us who had bought it and had nothing to show for it. Hopefully they will get it back for sale soon.
