    My Vudu drops

Why does Vudu stop working while watching my purchases? It drops out on multiple devices at multiple locations!

Mine has been streaming terribly the last few day. I have 500mg fiber optic ISP and it’s buffering three or four times per movie. And when it buffers it gives me the same crap about bandwidth, asking if I want to switch to SD??? We are BEYOND that crap VUDU. It’s 2023 and everyone, EVERYONE using VUDU has sufficient internet speed to stream your “1080p” quality movies.

These have been long known and often recurring issues. However things seem to be running pretty well lately.

I personally haven’t had any streaming issues with Vudu for well over a year. I’m only running FIOS 50 Mbps btw and we often have multiple streams going on at same time.

It’s every night lately. I NEVER have buffering with Disney+, Hulu, HBO, Netflix, or Amazon. Every movie I watch on VUDU buffers at least once during the movie. It’s so irritating I just usually switch to either a disc or different streaming service.

Weird. I have some buffering issues with HBOmax, Netflix and Hulu. Some of these apps are just horrible. HBOmax was unstable for many months. It’s totally stable now but it takes 1-3 seconds to go back or forward a screen; so laggy. Disney had issues for months as well. They just hir people that don’t know how to code and they don’t have proper server bandwidth during peak times of hot shows. As mentioned before these issues with Vudu are not uncommon. I don’t know how / why but sometimes they are related to ISP issues. Either way I haven’t had buffer issues with Vudu for quite sometime. It would seem likely that if most people weren’t having problems and only a handful are the issue isn’t with Vudu but with one of dozens of other variables or combinations of variables. Just my two cents.
