Getting unable to add gift card error

I and many other people are unable to add gift cards to our accounts. We get "Unable To Add Gift Card" errors each time. There are many with this issue and it's been happening all day.

I've been trying on two different computers since May 2023 to load my FandangoNow gift cards. I'm still getting the same message from Vudu: "Unable to add gift card. Something went wrong. Please try again".

Would Vudu at least tell us when this will be fixed, so I don't have to come here almost every day to see if the gift cards will load?

Some FandangoNow gift cards just never worked for me. What I used to do is email Fandango and ask them to exchange my Fandango or Fandango Now gift card for a Vudu gift card and they always did.

Some of my gift cards are Vudu Fandago gift cards and on the back they say "Redeem this card on Vudu.com" (and they're still coming up with the same error message). I'll email them and ask about trading them in for Vudu only gift cards. But still, they should be better at communicating what we should do (like what you did) when that error message comes up. And why are they still selling their gift cards if they don't work like they should?

PS: I went into my account so I could find their email address to do as you did. I had to search for "my problem" and I searched for "FandangoNow gift cards not working" and in the instructions to add them it says: "4. Select “Add new Vudu/FandangoNOW gift card”. Enter card number, PIN, your billing zip code and click “Save”."

So fyi to all who are having a similar problem to mine (the error message: "Unable to add gift card. Something went wrong. Please try again"), the FandagoNow gift cards should be working.

Hmm. I won’t if they’ll still do this. I’ve got some FN gift cards as well that I’m more likely to use on Vudu. Who I also have gift cards for.

This was fixed months ago. You probably have a different issue.
