    Vudu downgrading bundle quality.

I just purchased the Rocky 6 movie bundle. All of the movies had the UHD version available except 2 of them. As a result, my entire bundle purchase is HDX with the option to upgrade the 4 UHD available movies for $14.99 each.

Why not give you the best available quality or each movie when purchasing a bundle?

That would be nice but the Rocky bundle does say it is only available in HDX.

Where does it show those details before purchasing?

Are you purchasing on browser or app? It's a little different depending on what you're using. On a web browser it shows the max definition up near title next to rating before you click on anything. But also, after you click purchase it takes you to a confirmation screen where it tells you what definition you're about to purchase.

You can browse titles and then from the bundle you can click each title to view the details in each.

They can’t offer a UHD bundle if they aren’t all in UHD. For thing it’s false advertising as they are not all in UHD. Secondly they can’t keep track that you bought UHD rights for all titles and then upgrade any HDX movies when / if they become UHD at a later date; it doesn’t work that way. Third it’s just going to confuse people to say it’s a mixed bundle of HDX / UHD titles; and their system isn’t set up to offer something like this - how would you even label it on the bundle button.

Best to buy the HDX bundle bundle and then also buy the UHD versions as well. The other option is to just buy them separate. Or in my case I would either ONLY buy the UHD version now and just buy the others when they became available at various times in UHD or just wait until they are all in UHD and then there will be a UHD bundle.

It really comes down to pricing. I often find it cheaper to buy the titles separate, especially on sale vs the bundle pricing.

I've been mostly purchasing through the app on my TV.

Also, I just want to say thank you to everyone that has been replying.
