    Poor Customer Service

I figured I'd share my experience about VUDU where I feel like they no longer honor their loyal customer. Yesterday morning, Gran Turismo was on sale for $5.00. I tried purchasing it on three different devices, and it just took me back to the product page. I sent them a message, along with a screen shot showing the listed price. Thankfully I had thought to screen shot the page because, the price jumped up to $14.99 several hours later. Before VUDU integrated with Fandango, they would honor the price, give me a promotional code of the price difference, and satisfy their loyal customer.
This time, all I got was a "too bad" kind of response. The sale was an error, and they flat out refuse to honor the price I was trying to purchase it at. I've been a dedicated VUDU customer for many years, literally spending thousands of dollars building my digital library through their service. Now, my family and I will be taking our business elsewhere. The lack of customer care has rubbed me the wrong way.

This seems to be standard practice since Fandango took over, unfortunately.

I agree. If you have an issue, it will likely never get resolved. I have had several cases opened with no response, and when I call to check on them, all that "Customer Care" does is re-escalate my case, hoping that this time someone at corporate will actually respond. Eventually, those cases end up getting purged in their system due to inactivity.

Albert Einstein once said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing time and time again and expecting a different result. That is also the definition of Vudu Customer Care.

FelipeF How does a customer go about getting their issues resolved in a timely manner? I have had to start a new case from scratch multiple times, as they keep getting closed at the "next level" after sitting there for a few months, despite me following up on them every week or so.

I would also like to know how to get resolutions. I had them respond back to one of my inquiries letting me know they issued a credit to my account. I checked my account, and there was no credit issued. I wrote back informing them of this...and it's been crickets ever since. That was over two months ago...

I'd give them a call as opposed to email.
