    Vudu Goodies?

What is the story with these Vudu Goodies boxes I'm seeing on Twitter and Facebook? Are we all going to get one? I spend a lot of cash on Vudu. I'd like one!

What do you speak of? Are you sure it's not spam? I've never seen anything related to a Vudu "goodies" so I might be missing something?

I think it was only for those who pre-ordered Captain America: Civil War on Vudu. I remember seeing a promotion for it.

According to someone on Twitter who received the box, her letter said she was one of the lucky few to receive a sample of their "pilot goodies box". Nothing about this being the a promo for Captain America...

Another person said they received their box "out of the blue"....

Seems to be a goodie box for Star Trek too.

              Re: Vudu Goodies?

The Vudu Goodies Box was sent to select customers who pre-ordered Captain America: Civil War. Not everyone who pre-ordered Captain America: Civil War received a box, just to be clear. Those selected were sent a special email to update their shipping address for this promotion.

The Star Trek "goodies" you saw are prizes from the winners of the #vuduviewingparty. This was NOT another Vudu Goodies Box. There was only ONE Vudu Goodies Box, Captain America: Civil War.

Oh, such shady practices to only favor certain buyers. Shameful. This is why I'll never pre-order new titles on Vudu.

No it's not. So Vudu can't offer any incentives to some random folks who pre-ordered with them? I think someone is salty they were not selected. Entitled much?

I was one of the people selected for the goodies. So how many thousands of dollars have you spent on Vudu? Yeah, thousands. I didn't realize that myself until I just checked out my account and started adding things up. I suppose I should have known though considering I have around 800 movies and 80 tv series most of which are complete.

Sure they can, but it's not fair to just pick certain people out of a bunch. No mention before hand, it's not fair and seeing other comments on other forums, many seem to feel the same.

As me being "salty", you are wrong. I never pre-order new titles for $20, when I can get it for $15 less elsewhere.
