At this point, I'm worried VUDU may not be getting them until the rest of the series is released later this year, if not later.

Patience. I'm sure there is a reason why the UHD encode hasn't been released. The Vudu techs on the forum have been very helpful with getting things added and fixed.

But fairly silent in regards to this. Not that they're doing anything wrong, just that it may unfortunately be that for the time being, there are no plans for digital release. That would be nonsensical since fantastic beasts just came out, but I guess Warner is going to do Warner.

So I guess its safe to assume these won't be coming until the rest of the film series is released on UHD blu ray later this year if at all?

Any updates on these being available as UHD on vudu? The first four get released on physical disc next Tuesday.

Additionally, all eight movies release as box set on UHD Tuesday too.

One problem I have her is the Warner looks to be releasing theatrical version. Which means in so many months they'll re-release select extended titles requiring a re-but yet again.

For some reason, Warner Bros. has decided not to give the UHD encodes to Vudu. Maybe because they're HDR-10 and not Dolby Vision? This has been true for the last four Harry Potter titles released in 4k earlier this year and apparently is true for the latest 4 released today. You should get the UHD titles in your UV locker if you redeem on WB though. I had trouble with the first one but after chatting with Flixster they fixed it.

                    73 UHD
                    858 HDX
                    2 SD

Not just VUDU though. iTunes doesn?t have them either.

I don't remember Vudu techs mentioning this would be released today in UHD. The 4K blu-rays are now available but that doesn't mean the UHD encodes would be released.

On my phone right now, so I?m a bit too lazy to post a source, but I believe the press release stated that the uhd copies would be streaming through select digital retailers. It doesn?t list VUDU specifically, but as far as I?m aware, no digital retailers are streaming them.

Title is "on hold" Amazon and Best Buy didn't get an physical UHD disc's today.

Apparently WB put a hold on it due to supply issues. It seems some leaked out though.

Where did you hear this? Why would physical supply issues effect a digital release?

No idea why. To keep the same release dates across markets.

Have an account with distrubtors and they generally get two weeks in advance or 4-5 days when studios don’t want things leaked before street. I ordered 3 months ago with distro and not only did I not get any neither did distro.

Bluray.com has a couple threads going as well as AVS and some other places.
