    Xbox One App Alphebtize

Just a simple suggestion. It would be amazing to alphebitize my movies on the Xbox One app. I currently cannot reorder my movies in any other order than by purchase date, the default view.

EDIT: I don't have those options because it apparently takes 40 or so movies to unlock these features for the Xbox version I guess. I don't know how to delete threads and I think I should because I made a separate one a couple days ago for the same issue. Didn't know how threads worked at that time back then. This is my first time dealing with any forums for anything on any website. Either this one or the other one can probably be deleted.

I can change the list in my Xbox1 to A-Z. I just go to my movie list, then go to sort, and there are the different options. Purchase time, Most Watched, Release Date, Tomato Meter and then A through Z. Don't know why your app on the xbox 1 would be different than the one I have.

Edited to give you my widget version found in the system info of the app. My version is 2.0.13.6

Thank you for replying but it appears my app is just broken. I just double checked and I have the exact same widget version as you (on my Xbox One) and I still see no filter options. One person on Reddit suggested I go to my movies and press the down button to highlight my first movie and then click the left button to pan over to the left and bring up all the filters and sorting options but this did not do anything. I've tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling several times. I've tried deactivating the device from my VUDU account in the advanced settings multiple times as well. I've tried doing a hard reset on my Xbox one console and none of these tasks have solved the issue. I am simply unable to ever filter my movies. Again, just to clarify, my widget version is 2.0.13.6 and I'm on the Xbox One app. I'm desperate for a solution.

The filters are currently only enabled on movie grid pages when there are 40 or more items in the list.

Thank you for providing that answer. Only one movie away. I don't know why customer service didn't provide me with the answer when I called them. The lady said her supervisor told her that it is actually impossible to filter on Xbox haha she must have been talking about the older version of the app. She seemed really nice so maybe she and her supervisor were just mistaken and not trying to lie to me. Thanks again!

Note there seems to be a bug where the "filter" icon does not show up the first time you go to "My Movies", even if there are 40 in the list. This is being fixed for the next release.

And as far as the 40 movie minimum - I don't know if it's specifically documented anywhere. I believe it was a UX decision to keep "short lists" that can be viewed quickly as simple as possible (like collections with a small number of titles). I suggested they consider reducing that min number on the owned movies page to something a bit smaller to avoid confusion.
