Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc). Despicable Me 2 UHD - NOT Redeeming

    Despicable Me 2 UHD - NOT Redeeming

    Redeemed Despicable Me 1 from UHD no problems.

    Tried to redeem Despicable Me 2 from UHD and given error "movie already purchased" which was true for HDX, not UHD. Tried again and given error "code invalid". No DM2 UHD in my account and no valid code.

    That probably means that they are only giving you HDX rights and not UHD. Where are you redeeming your code?

        Per the Google doc file we have here it said to redeem both at Vudu which is what I did and it didn't work for DM2 UHD.

          Did you try Universal? I redeem all Universal UHD UV codes at their site. With Despicable Me, I also redeemed the UHD UV code on the UNiversal site. Within a few minutes it showed up in Vudu as owning the UHD version. I didn't get DM2 yet since the UHD BD price was much higher than the first one/.

            I couldn't use it at Universal, as Vudu invalidated the code when they attempted to redeem. So I'm stuck with a used UHD code and no digital copy.

              Your best bet would be to contact Universal and see if they'll generate a new code. Because of what happened, they may do that for you.

                Tried Universial the same day. They said I had to deal with Vudu as they show the code redeemed there, even though it's not in my Vudu account (as HDX).

                I've also had a ticket open with same day. They told me to access the Saved Promotions in my account info. When I try and retrieve it just provides the same error as when I initially tried to redeem it:

                "ERROR Despicable Me 2 was already purchased and available in the My Movies section on Vudu."

                As before yeah it is in there, as HDX from years prior. Still even shows that UHD is available for purchase.

                It's in code limbo.
