    Spider-Man Homecoming 4k + HDR Upgrade!

What's up with the free 4k + HDR Upgrade if you pre-order the HDX version today! Does this mean Sony & HDR has being added..if so that's great news. What about redeeming a HDX code will the same upgrade be issued as well?

    Anyone else get the email?

Will have to check Tuesday and see what's up.

Doesn't do me much good though since both my 2015 Samsung 4k UHD TV & 2016 Samsung UBD Blu-ray player aren't supported for UHD streaming here at VUDU. But it would be nice to see my Sony UHD titles port into VUDU in case a miracle happens one day and they're added to the list of supported devices.

Great news for those that have the equipment to enjoy all their UHD/HDR titles from the all participating studios...im jealous.

      Flip the switch already VUDU!!!

          Couple of updates -

          (i) Yes, we are going to start supporting Sony titles w/ 4K+HDR if available. Baby Driver already has 4K+DV.
(II) Everyone who pre-orders is getting a $3 credit on release.
(III) We are diligently working on HDR10 for Samsung and other devices. Please be patient and we'll get there.
(IV) We'll try our level best to get 4K+DV ready for Tuesday - stay tuned.

Thank you for all your support everyone!

          Cheers,

            It’s a Sony title.

It also hasn’t been released yet.

              Maybe because it's Sony?

Marvel produced it for Sony, in exchange for permission to use Spider-Man in Disney?s MCU films. But his standalone films still belong to Sony.

Yup. Same as marvel did with the incredible Hulk, and why hulk's not in DMA.

Currently, HDX codes won't get the upgrade. Per licensing terms, only digital copies purchased on the service.

Hello, I'm so sorry, but I'm a bit confused. Will movies bought on Vudu be upgraded to UHD (if the film is available in UHD)? Also, what is HDR and what does this mean for Vudu customers?

Thank you for the amazing, upcoming changes!

We’re only talking about Spider-Man... for now...

                              Thanks for clearing that up.

As for other Sony UHD titles that we've had in myuv port into VUDU Tuesday or in the very near future?
