Thanks (to you, and the others who replied). I created my MA account through the iPhone MA app, and there was no pop-up there. I later logged into the MA website and still saw no pop-up, but I did see the migrate option in the drop-down under my name in the top right corner, as you indicated.

It's not allowing MA and Vudu to connect on my end........ I get this:

      Not Found
Uh Oh! We couldn’t find the page.

Check the spelling of the page address, or use search to find it.

Why do you wish you said No?

None of my purchased itunes movies are no longer showing on my iphone. I wonder if it has something to do with my account being linked to DMA. My DMA movies still show on Vudu though.

What does this mean for the participating studios' future digital copies bundled with physical releases?

Will FOX release, say, Deadpool 2 with an UltraViolet digital copy (as well as iTunes), or some sort of MoviesAnywhere digital copy that could then be only viewed through a MoviesAnywhere compatible app?

Again, for my free MoviesAnywhere copy of Ghostbusters migrated to my Amazon library...so I if we MUST redeem through MoviesAnywhere in the future, at least we have options for what app to use to watch the content.

But again, what "type" of digital movies will these be sold with physical movies? Are the UV studios that signed on to MA no longer releasing UV "versions" of their movies? Will I no longer be adding titles to my UV library, unless it is Lionsgate or Paramount?

So far it looks like anyone who supported UV and is in MA will do both moving forward. Guessing UV will be around until everyone is onboard with MA....then it might go away or be reduced. MA will also need to expand globally before UV can go away.

Uh, because when rolling out a new product things don't always work perfectly immediately? It's an outage...patience...

I could easily seeing UV sticking around. MGM release some titles on UV, and so far have not joined MA, and I haven't seen any news on if they planned to or not? I'm shocked FNow didn't jump on board, but I'm guessing they will once Paramount and Lionsgate come on board.

I would love for their to be ONE main locker with all studios on board. It would make it so much easier for everyone to have all their digitals in one place.

Yeah MA is a good start.....but still feels like a mess without truly including all studios!

Lets not forget UV and digital redemption is a mess in general. MA is absolutely heading in the right direction. Single locker that ports to all platforms and single source for code redemptions. It may not all be in place yet but this is the closest we've got to the studios getting this thing right.

Re: The Official Movies Anywhere Thread

I'm skimming through my collection to see what NON Paramount/Lionsgate titles (of which I have a ton), that are UV compatible, are not MA compatible, and taking note of their studios.

So far (from a random selection) these are UV titles that do not have a MA emblem...

                          Candyman (Sony)
                          City of Lost Children (Sony)
From Beijing with Love (Anchor Bay Entertainment)
Jackie Chan's First Strike (Warner Bros.)
All the BOND movies (they show UV) (MGM)....also all my MGM titles that are not UV, they don't show MA either.
The Man From Earth (Anchor Bay Entertainment)
                          Robocop (MGM)
                          Shin Godzilla (FUNmation Entertainment)

Wonder if VUDU will drop their prices more with MA. Now that we can purchase movies from 4 different providers and they link up, it seems like purchashing through the cheapest service is the best bet.

How's sharing going to work? Can I share my MA library with up to 5 friends?

Yes but apparently only the master account can make purchases. So your friends accounts would only be like kids accounts and not be able to contribute to your library. Thats a big bummer for me as I share my UV with several family members.
