Exorcist Extended Cut not porting into Vudu from UV locker

So I just picked up the Extended cut of The Exorcist over at FandangoNow (had a coupon code) and it ported into my UV locker in a matter of minutes. However, it is refusing to port into my Vudu account. I've unlinked and re-linked my library a few times to see if that would fix it, but nope.

I was wondering if anyone else has had a problem with this movie, and if there is some way I can get it fixed.

Not quite the same thing, but The Exorcist - Extended Director's Cut is also a Movies Anywhere title, and I just purchased it on iTunes. It has shown up in my Movies Anywhere account and on Amazon, but not on Vudu.

I thought it might be an issue with MA, but maybe it's just with this particular movie?

The ALID we have in place for this title has been confirmed as correct by the studio. WB said it would contact FandangoNow to let them know their ALID is invalid. Please contact FandangoNow customer support to have them update the ALID to the correct one.

This version also does not port to MA, Amazon, GP or iTunes, just a FYI.

I purchased this from Amazon and that movie ported to Movies Anywhere (right away) then ported to Google Play and Itunes with no issues. Vudu however it wont port. Seems to be just that one movie wont go from Movies Anywhere to Vudu but other movies from Movies Anywhere are porting into Vudu just seems there is an issue with The Exorcist Directors Cut version. I see the MA symbol for that movie in Vudu so I assume its a Movie Anywhere eligible movie.....

How is this an issue with FandangoNow when it's Vudu that is causing the problem? I purchased the extended director's cut from VUDU, and it has not ported to MA, thus not appearing on Amazon, Google or iTunes. This is clearly an issue with Vudu, and someone needs to explain to WB there are two versions of this movie, unless you look at Google Play who offers THREE VERSIONS (which two are the same, I think).

FandangoNow isn't even a MA supporter, no title bought there will be MA. This needs to be corrected by Vudu and WB, no one else.

First the problem is the name of the title in VUDU and MA


The Exorcist(Extended) and The Exorcist - The Version You Have Never Seen is the same movie.

When it first came out on DVD and theaters it was known as The Exorcist - The Version You Have Never Seen. When it was released on Blu-ray the name was changed to The Exorcist(Extended)


In movies anywhere it is called - The Excorcist The Version You Have Never Seen
In Vudu it is called The Exorcist(Extended), but it is also called this in Amazon and Apple
only google still has it under The Excorcist The Version You Have Never Seen.

The problem on this title is on vudu, it's not linked to The Excorcist The Version You Have Never Seen. It's linked to the new name The Exorcist(Extended) which is not what it's called on Moviesanywhere.

Apple and Itunes knows The Exorcist(Extended) and The Exorcist - The Version You Have Never Seen are the same movie.

No ones vudu copy will ever port to MA til this is fixed. And no ones google play, apple or amazon copy will ever port to vudu.

Vudu id is different from the other three retailers for this movie..

I've got the same issue. I own this title on VUDU but it is not porting over to MoviesAnywhere.

FandangoNow has an invalid ALID in place, confirmed by WB. This is in reference to UV rights, not MA. 2 separate ecosystems. I can replicate the MA issue on my account. I'm having someone look into this.

I now see Exorcist Extended Cut in my MA account now. Check your MA accounts, you might need to wait for it to refresh for it to port over.

Waiting for mine to port over from vudu. The buy link at MA now leads to the Extended Cut on vudu, so it looks like it should be fixed for everyone.
